Cold and calculating are usually the first terms people come up at first glance when they see Abel. During an initial interaction, people seem to be easily unnerved or driven off by his blunt and straight forward demeanor causing many to find him simply rude or heartless. His indifference towards others has a tendency to rub others in the wrong way placing him generally in unfavourable situations although they occur rarely. Nonetheless, he can put up a fight(something he'll admit that he likes) if he needs to defend himself.

Despite being usually disliked by others, Abel in truth just wants to keep things to himself to an extent that he has a bit of xenophobia. He hates getting involved with other people and prefers to maintain a formal yet dignified appearance. Although he chooses to show little emotion, he is a considerably thoughtful and will worry about people that are important to him. In addition to being a reserved person, he is also very observing where he is able to notice and tell the slightest difference or inaccuracy in something.

However, Abel is a bit of a neat freak on the other hand. He hates seeing messes and would go out of his way to clean it according to his satisfaction. This happens to play an important part in his guilty pleasure of gardening and cooking. Being an integral part of his life, it is rare to not see him spending his free time tending to flowers. He is not ashamed of his hobby but rather finds pride in it. Not only that but he also has a small fondness for rabbits. Perhaps small may be considered an understatement but his obsession stems from his childhood really. Unfortunately, Abel refuses to speak or even mention about his past. He distances himself from his family due to his estranged relationship with them, almost to the point of treating them as strangers.

Roleplay sample (minimum 200 words):

Frankly, he was quite disappointed in himself for not giving much thought about letting his rabbit running off around his garden. He had kept an eye on her while she roamed around in his man made haven. But somehow, just somehow she had managed to return looking almost unrecognisable. Her lovely creamy white coat was now stained with atrocious specks of dirt which dotted her fur. What was even worse was her footprints, more specifically splotches of mud that she had decorated the wooden flooring with. The only thing that managed to put him to ease was that she was unharmed, something he would not forgive himself for if it had turned out otherwise.

He held his pipe in hand, strategizing and determining the best course of action. His rabbit, affectionately named Nijntje but called Miffy for the sake of simplicity, wriggled her nose happily to her owner. A grunt of displeasure rose from Abel as he placed the pipe into his mouth, smoking it without second thought. He reached down picking up the animal, holding it close to him making sure she didn't run off unexpectedly to another mess causing adventure.

" I spoil you too much." He states flatly, taking her to the washroom to clean her up before tending to the mess she had created.

The rabbit merely wriggles her nose again as if in agreement to his comment. Abel merely rolled his eyes at the sight.
