Personality:

Hanne is definitely not subtle. He's a proud extrovert, to the point where he never shuts up sometimes. He's also a fierce flirter around women, though he never gets very far. He loves making new friends; if he likes you, he'll let you know! The bad thing is that he can be a little too bold - if he doesn't like you, he'll let you know with his fists. He's gotten beaten up an infinite number of times.

He's a huge lover of all sorts of sweets, especially those from Belgium. His favorite foods are waffles, chocolate bars, pralines, french fries (with mayonnaise, yum!), smoothies, and cooked rabbit. He also enjoys cooking his own foods, but getting junk food at various vendors will always be his favorite way to get it.

Hanne is messy when it comes to keeping things organized. His locker, room, etc are always bursting at the seams with useless stuff that he 'has to have'. He's also really impatient, and is the kind to eat his food before it cools. He can also be really obnoxious and a bit too self-assured. He also has narcolepsy.

Appearance:

Hannes has golden blonde hair that reaches right below his ears; it flips out and tangles every which way, so his hair is often quite crazy. He pushes his bangs to the left of his face so his face is so visible. His eyebrows are the same color as his hair and are a normal size. His eyelashes are long, and his eyes are cat-like and green (the exact color on colorhexa.com is #4eb54e). His nose is pointy, and his mouth is also very cat-like. He's often smirking, even when the time is inappropriate.

Hanne has a flat body with no muscle. He often tries to work out, but all he has been able to do is even out his body so that he isn't actually thin around his torso. In fact, he's been getting a teensy bit chubby, but it's hard to tell unless you squeeze him (I wouldn't advise doing so). He has large feet and bony fingers.

History:

Hanne was born into a European family with all sorts of bloodlines, the main ones being German and Dutch. His home family had a largely German line. However, a young Hannes was given to his Dutch uncle as a baby. They fought often in his youth, but they eventually had to come to peace. At age 10, his parents came back for him, but much of the nearby family refused. His family still attempted to sneak him home through several awful tactics over the next few years.

They finally succeeded, but Hanne struggled to stay close to his uncle. He finally got back to him, but they kept their distance now that he was a teenager. He was sent to World Academy W as a 17-year-old (he has an early birthday).

Roleplay Sample:

Hanne De Smadt smoothed out his sweater vest and kept his cat eyes focused straight ahead. He kept his usual grin suppressed as his sight was glazed over by thoughts of fresh air, oceans, and really good food. It was the only thing that kept him from falling asleep right there and then - though he usually couldn't control that. One of his hands rested on his cheek, leaving a sticky indention that had to be dealt with later.

This was the most boring thing ever! Except for those custody battles... they were pretty boring. He scribbled on his notebook without looking down (when he saw it later, he had doodled hearts and random Dutch sentences). Yes, English was important, but... the Belgian wasn't the hardest worker. He didn't like productivity, and would definitely rather slack off or go do something fun. There wasn't any chance for that here.

"Mr. De Smadt?"

He blinked.

"Translate 'Where is the restaurant'?"

"W...what?" A few laughs choked out around the full classroom.

"Try to stay awake. I don't like to waste my time, and I'm sure you don't like to waste yours."

"Yes, Sir." He groaned. It was going to be a long day.

I think the history forgets about half of what makes Belgium, so I'll have to ask you to re-work on it; Otherwise the narcoleptic thing really comes out of nowhere, so please rework on this too please.
