Personality (mostly to see your characterization): Roderich, being raised in a household where only the best would succeed, is a very studious type of person. Preferring his violin over people and reading to partying, he isn't found in most of the popular teenage events. He is a young master, scowling on people and things not to his taste. He isn't exactly unfriendly, he just doesn't get along with the usual teenager. It's safe to say that he's intelligent, sarcastic and strict but this good for his lessons....Just not so good for when he tries to socialize, Roderich usually ends up arguing with someone over something petty. Being a scorpio, he's rather hot headed (I am a Scorpio myself so I can wholeheartedly agree to this fact) and will easily get annoyed if bugged. But if you catch him in a good mood, or he likes you, Roderich becomes less....uptight and more relaxed.
He finds it hard to find people to call friends, let alone a lover. He isn't that good with communicating through talking, but his music speaks a thousand words. As a friend, he will gladly play for you if asked and bake,just normal friendly things. If he falls for someone however, he becomes more frozen once he realizes that he has indeed fallen for someone. But Roderich will write music for that special person, play it for them where he cannot be seen then leave. He will leave flowers in secret but will never reveal his true feelings...unless he knows the person likes him back.
Overall he is well-spoken, rather optimistic young mater type of a person. Quieter than Germany and more easygoing but compared to everyone else, is uptight. Doesn't really like the outdoors, apart from gardens and parks. He is rather camera shy, not liking when a photo is being taken of him, though he might comply if he is good enough of a mood. Roleplay sample (minimum 200 words): People often ask me why, when there is a party going on, I spend my time writing and improving my learning. They also often ask me why I spend so much time in the library and not the pub. The answer to both these questions is simple; I find normal teenage activities boring.
It’s not that I am a killjoy and spit on whoever attend parties or bars…It’s merely I don’t find them entertaining enough to attend. While people hold drinks, I hold music sheets. While people dance to dubstep, I am composing classical. People from two different worlds combined ends in fights usually so that is another reason why I avoid crowded teenage areas. I do not need to be called a stuck up his own ass aristocrat anymore. For one, I am just from a noble home, I am not stuck up. It is something called liking different things.
I enjoy spending my evenings with a cup of coffee, listening or composing music. Sometimes I curl up in bed and read for hours on end. Anything but getting drunk. Me drunk means another night of sexual activities and drunken dancing (Which is really just a flailing of limbs I suppose) that ends up with me passing out.

How do you feel about your character(s)?: Being musical myself (I play violin, cello and piano) I can relate to his passion for music and such. I am also well spoken and have a tendency to yell and get annoyed easily. Basically, I find Roddy to be a male and Austrian version of myself.
