First meeting plan; Getting to know each others, create a work plan together, schedule other meetings, start discussing ways to improve the school.
The Meeting will take place on Sunday, then you will be free to organize it yourself.

Student council elections

Every student willing to run for the Student council elections will have to give a small speech on their motivation; They also will have a week to convince people to vote for them.
The winner of the elections will become president, while the second best will assist him as vice president.
You may run for the treasurer and secretary post separately.

((post your "speech" here and rp out your promotion! people who didn't post said IC speech will not be considered as running up for a post. You will be asked to vote IC for who you think your character would vote for on Sunday. Teachers can't vote.))

School's rules

Following are our school's rules; we expect all students to follow them. Going against them will cause an immediate sanction. Severe offenses may result in expulsions.

1) Uniforms are mandatory on school's grounds. While we do allow students to alter them in some ways, we do ask of them they keep it close to the original. Skirts have to fall at least mid-thighs.

2)Violence is not allowed in any cases. Verbal violence, bullying, or fights will not be tolerated and will be faced with severe punishments.

3) Alcohol, weapons or drugs are not allowed on school grounds. This includes personal multi function knives or cigarettes.

4) Teachers will check the dorms after the curfew; past 10PM everyone is meant to be in their respective rooms, sleeping.

5) Male students aren't allowed in the girl's dorms, Female students aren't allowed in the boy's dorms.

6)Respect your teachers and environment. Mocking a teacher or littering will be punished.

7) Students are allowed to go in town, but not out of it. Please act like responsible people and stay out of trouble there.

8) Skipping classes is forbidden. You may miss classes if you get a note from the infirmary.

9) Students are not allowed in the teacher's lounge; they also have to ask permission before using any classroom out of class times.

((Those rules are the school's rule, IC; of course you're allowed to not follow them but know it will have consequences IC too. If a student really earns themselves an expulsion, since we don't want to kick rper out for that, we will find a way to come back or stay, don't worry!))

[IMPORTANT] OOC annoucement, changes in the forum

Hello everyone!

Since it's been a while this forum didn't really have a real change, I decided now would be a good time to try doing some cleaning. I have a few problems at hand and hope to involve the members in solving them (I'm not quite yet a dictator, and since you all use this forum as well, it is important you participate.)
Our first matter is probably the most important; should we have a retcon?
To explain why I believe it might be a good idea, I'd like to say this forum was here for quite a while now. And it also happens we had a few different people coming and leaving while we were here. A lot of our forum's canon isn't justified anymore due to some characters leaving, and I believe renewing everything a little could be a good idea to have more activity; more freedom, in a way.
I also think people might want to change their character's role a little; maybe some of you would like to take a teacher's role, or some would like to go back to being mere students. If we did reset everything on the forum rp wise, this would be possible. I will also make sure to keep all the older threads in the "old threads" part of the forum.

My second big problem is related to the chat; while using one on msn was fine for a long time, it was pretty bad lately and we had to delete the one we used since it got a replacement. However, said replacement is also pretty bad, since you can only access it using regular msn messenger,and even then it tends to refuse to work for some people.
I have two alternative; the first one, and my favorite, would be to create a group on skype. Most people have skype, it works pretty well from what I know of it, and it have the advantage of not needing a browser; beside, it also allows you to know when someone posts.
We also could use the chat on the forum directly, however, since we allow guests who didn't apply yet, we could get spammed during rp, and it also have the disadvantage of not notifying us when someone else posts. I'm really not for this option but I do have to put it out here too.

Finally this will also count as an activity check; I'm sending this to everyone and request you all vote and post in this thread (like instructed in the email sent to you all). If you don't and didn't post in 2 weeks, you will have to be kicked out to free space for new blood. I will also ask of you to please talk about this forum to friends, people who might be interested etc, in order to get us more members again.

As another small note, I'm changing the colors on the forum a slight bit, so if it looks off for a small while you'll know I'm working on it! We're keeping the blue theme, just making it a slightly different shade.

If you have any suggestions as to what we could do to better the forum, please do tell us about it. And if you have event ideas, do discuss it with us too; as of right now I will try to have at least one every two months.

PS: the poll and activity check both will be run for 7 days, not more.

I'm sorry that I haven't been able to message anyone on Skype, but my computer currently needs a new battery. My sister's doesn't have MSN. It does have Skype though!

Voted as well! Skype is far easier to RP in (though it direly lacks in customization) so I agree to this Very Happy Keeping Toris and Amy as well!

I'd need your Skype, everyone, please PM it to me so I may add you to that new group! Also will be retconing since we have majority in general.
Working on doing so already, I'll be cleaning the OOC bits today and reorganizing some parts on the forum.
