The Meeting will take place on Sunday, then you will be free to organize it yourself.

Student council elections

EDIT: Congratulation to Alfred for becoming president!
Every student willing to run for the Student council elections will have to give a small speech on their motivation; They also will have a week to convince people to vote for them.
The winner of the elections will become president, while the second best will assist him as vice president.
You may run for the treasurer and secretary post separately.
((post your "speech" here and rp out your promotion! people who didn't post said IC speech will not be considered as running up for a post. You will be asked to vote IC for who you think your character would vote for on Sunday. Teachers can't vote.))

School's rules

Following are our school's rules; we expect all students to follow them. Going against them will cause an immediate sanction. Severe offenses may result in expulsions.
1) Uniforms are mandatory on school's grounds. While we do allow students to alter them in some ways, we do ask of them they keep it close to the original. Skirts have to fall at least mid-thighs.
2)Violence is not allowed in any cases. Verbal violence, bullying, or fights will not be tolerated and will be faced with severe punishments.
3) Alcohol, weapons or drugs are not allowed on school grounds. This includes personal multi function knives or cigarettes.
4) Teachers will check the dorms after the curfew; past 10PM everyone is meant to be in their respective rooms, sleeping.
5) Male students aren't allowed in the girl's dorms, Female students aren't allowed in the boy's dorms.
6)Respect your teachers and environment. Mocking a teacher or littering will be punished.
7) Students are allowed to go in town, but not out of it. Please act like responsible people and stay out of trouble there.
8) Skipping classes is forbidden. You may miss classes if you get a note from the infirmary.

Toris is a softspoken lad who usually fails at asserting himself with others. Despite this, he never shirks from his responsibilities and makes sure that what needs to get done gets done. He can be brave and assertive when he HAS to, though, but he usually just stays at the sideline and offers his help only if he is needed.
Having a passive personality has its pros and cons: Toris has a very high tolerance level for ANYTHING at all, but when he reaches his breaking point, he clams up and actively ignores people who made him angry. He forgives and forgets easily though, even without being apologized to.
His trust is also easy to obtain, thus resulting to him suffering from frequent humiliation and abuse in several forms, including but not limited to work overload, friendships and relationships with manipulative or physically abusive people, and frequent robbery incidents, all of which, of course, involve him as the victim. Though he has woes about always being the victim, he is used to this kind of treatment, and usually thinks of himself as a 'helper' instead of the victim.
Toris loves to take care and assist people and animals. He never complains (unless he reaches his breaking point) and does anything he is told to do as long as he can do it. He enjoys cooking (and is good at it) as well as chores, though he is by no means a workaholic. Though he is willing to sacrifice his free time to help others out, he values whatever spare time he gets (which does not include the time spent doing menial chores) and usually spends this reading history books in his room.
He is also obsessive-compulsive when it comes to cleanliness and order; he never leaves a mess, cleans up other people's messes without complaint, and has all of his things arranged in alphabetical order. He fuzzes when something is out of order and stops whatever he is doing to put it back at its right place. Losing or misplacing things also makes him panic, which makes him lose his usual train of thought as he goes on a manic panic to find the missing object.
Despite all these, though, he is a fairly sociable person and makes friends easily, though he is polite and conservative even with his friends. He gets flustered at the slightest green jokes, but being no stranger to such things, he usually tries to withstand these for as long as he needs to. He is no ladies' man, as his masochistic tendencies usually come out too soft for some people's tastes, but once he sets his sight on someone he likes, he never gives up as long as his heart still pumps blood.
Toris is also a fan of vodka, though his alcohol tolerance is ridiculously high; it takes more than 3 liters of vodka to get him tipsy. He usually drinks alone, though, and he turns down invitations to drink, except for special occasions. He is also a passive drunk; when he is TRULY drunk, he turns tightlipped and silent, and if he drinks anymore, he falls asleep even with loud music pumping all around him. Though this prevented him from any mistakes caused by inebriation, he had been a victim of videotaped sleeptalking, with him spouting out history facts and state affairs while asleep.
Likes: history, reading, vodka, researching, cooking, cleaning, having enough sleep or rest
Dislikes: being videotaped in his sleep, messes and disorganized objects, misplacing any items, being refused to help or assist

Today was not Toris' day.
He had just seen another one of his old sleeptalking videos uploaded on youtube (even having more than 100,000 views didn't please him about it), found out a friend lost his loaned copy of The Prince, pulled out an all-nighter to help the same friend with a paper about the Seven Years War that was due last week, and found out that said friend had rearranged all of his books in the wrong order.
Toris wanted to fume, wanted to kick something so badly, but he only sighed and went about to fixing the books and putting them in the right order again. When he finally stacked them in alphabetical order, he winced at the space that was supposed to be for his now-missing book, promising to himself that he was going to procure a new copy to make up for it.
Satisfying himself with the thoughts of replacing his missing book, he calmed down again and stretched, groaning as he felt a crick on his neck, wincing as he felt the muscles cramp up. Oh, it was definitely not his day. He crushed down his thoughts of self-pity as soon as they had formed and massaged his sore neck instead, sighing in relief as his muscle slowly turned normal again. Finally, as he felt his neck go slack, Toris took his shoes off, stripped down to his boxers and his socks, and jumped on his bed, chuckling in delight as he finally had the chance to rest. Yes, today might not be his day, but at least he didn't have to be awake for the rest of it.
His fantasies of sleep didn't have the power to stop his phone from ringing just before he fell asleep. He grabbed it from under his pillow and winced as he saw a new text message from that friend, asking him to come over to help edit the corrected draft returned by the teacher. He pulled a fist and shouted in frustration, choosing to ignore the text instead and put it back into his pillow without a reply.
But just a minute later his friend called, and for all of the rage Toris felt a minute ago, all of it dissipated as soon as he heard his friend's distressed voice, asking him for help once again. "I'll be there in five minutes," he said in a tired tone, with his palms covering his eyes, and as soon as he ended the call, he sighed again and stood up, putting all of his clothes back on and glancing at the empty space between his books before leaving his room.
It was definitely not his good day, but at least, at the end of the day, he knew he would have the same feeling of fulfillment he got from helping others. Nothing, even sleep, felt better than that.
