Personality: Lucas is a quiet boy, who rarely socializes – he prefers to keep within a private circle of friends rather than have a large group of friends who aren’t very close and even within this circle, he is still very closed off, never speaking more than what is required of him. He tends to be sarcastic and cynical, but his soft side does show itself once in a while, especially when it comes to matters dealing with his brother and close friends. He is also a very straightforward guy, who does not care to word his thoughts in a flowery manner, thus often coming across as rude and blunt, and offending many people. He is seen as emotionless, but in reality, Lucas merely has a very high emotional threshold, as well as an impossibly high level of pride. He is not afraid to stand up for what he believes in, and is a very intelligent individual – one of those rare people who can zone out during all lessons and still get perfect scores. Not only that, he used to be part of the national sailing team, hence making him an all-rounder. In general, Lucas is a perfect straight-A student who holds a reputation of being cold, and impossible to get near to.
Roleplay sample:
“Lucas…Lucas!”
A sharp, bony elbow prods his rib rather uncomfortably, and Lucas turns around to fix his stare on the person disturbing his ‘Rest Time’, and rather rudely too.
Mentally frowning when he sees that it’s only Tino, Lucas allows an indiscernible downwards quirk of his mouth, and asks: “Yes?”
His question is answered not by Tino, but by Mr. Gilbert.
“Kesesese! Looks like someone’s finally come back to the land of the living!” The class sniggers at this, and Lucas feels his eyebrow twitch on a minuscule scale. “Well now, Mr. Bondevik, what’s the answer to this question?”
Lucas stares at the aforementioned question with a blank look in his eyes. It was: Differentiate y=e^(2x+1). Ah, differentiation - his favourite mathematical topic. Pity they were only just starting on it, though. Lucas had already mastered it when he was 13, and he knew all the formulas like the back of his hand. Standing up from his seat, he takes careful and measured steps towards the whiteboard, skilfully avoiding the legs sticking out in the aisle, hoping to trip him over. Tch, how immature.
Taking the marker from Mr Gilbert, he scrawls out the answer in partially illegible handwriting: dy/dx=〖2e〗^(2x+1) . Stepping away from the whiteboard, he takes amusement in the scowl on Mr. Gilbert’s face, and the incredulous looks from his classmates (with the exception of Tino, who had on a knowing grin).
Feeling some sort of accomplishment, Lucas returns to his seat with his head held a fraction higher, and decides to pocket the marker.

Also, do tell me if I need to alter my application in any way - I'm still quite new to this roleplaying scene and really blur/forgetful sometimes (as you can see from my registering an account... oh god, I won't ever be able to get over that), so I'm not sure whether this is what you're looking for. Oh and I hope it's okay for me to use Finland and Prussia in this application!

Your application is pretty good, though we do usually ask people to not use other characters in it(mainly because it might change the relationship between the characters and we'd prefer if you discussed it with the rper first.) Though here since it respect the forum's canon, it's fine.
