Alfred is a social guy by nature, preferring to be surrounded by friends and people. Being alone is a big fear for him, having had no friends in primary school due to being teased by his peers. Because of this he craves friends and wants everyone to like him, minus bullies, bad people and Russians of course, especially Russians. They’re just plain creepy and eeeeviiiiiil.

He loves to play sports as well, being an energetic person filled with energy and adrenaline. Alfred likes baseball the best, though likes American football too. When not doing that he likes to run about, playing hero and pretending to thwart invisible villains. Not that he’d ever tell anyone that, because cool guys don’t play games.

He is very positive, always trying to find the silver lining in everything and to stay away from the dark and negative side. When bad things happen he’ll try to find a positive in it all, or think something like “Well it could be a whole lot worse~”. A bright smile is almost always on his face, even when upset himself, after all, a hero can go about bringing other people down with him!

Alfred is kind of oblivious and is rather famous for being unable to read the atmosphere. He can’t take any subtle or even rather big clues from anyone and needs to be told everything straight and clear, to his face. And don’t even start with romance. He can’t tell the difference between someone trying to befriend him and someone trying to hit on him. Not that he doesn’t know what romance is, hell, one day he was to find his very own prince or princess.

Alfred is a huuuge closet romantic. Under his bed he hides several romance novels and chick flicks, watching and reading them all when no one else is around. He adores these and secretly adores the idea of a perfect romance like in the Disney princess films or the happy ending chick flicks. He also has a stack of cute manga and anime, all romance, under his bed as well. But all are innocent, nothing smutty or overly sexy, because, really, he’s cute the innocent guy when it comes down to it.

He is also extremely loyal to those he befriends. He would never betray a friend and would follow them no matter what, even if it lead to crime. Alfred would take a bullet for his friends, lie for them, kill for them, die for them. His strong urge for acceptance and love leads him to crave friends so badly that he’ll often over look the badness within them, no matter how strong it may be.

His major fears are Ghosts, there's something about things that you can’t see or touch, or fight back at all frighten Alfred a lot. A ghost could just come out of nowhere, posses you and throw you off a cliff! Also, becoming fat. As a little kid he often got teased by his peers about his chubby cheeks and tummy. Because of that he became very sensitive about his weight and every time someone points it out he goes on a mad dieting spree, playing sports like mad and trying his best to stick to the newest fad diet until he feels that it worked. Then it’s back to hamburgers and ice cream.

Roleplay sample (minimum 200 words):

The young American tore through the streets as he made his way towards the conference hall. He hadn't meant to be late, he really hadn't. He had planned to go to bed early last night so he would be early to the meeting, so early in fact that he'd be first! And when the others arrived he's so heroically tell them 'Aren't you a little late today?'....at least that was how it was supposed to go down.

You see after he'd arrived in London yesterday he'd planned to just make his way down to his hotel, get up to his room and put his stuff away before making his merry way down to McDonalds to enjoy an awesome dinner, because Mickey D's was good for just about any meal, even if this one happened to be in England of all places. It was still edible, probably the best food in all of England, not that that boring old man would agree with him...he'd probably say something about fish and fri-no...CHIPS or scones being much more "wonderful and better for you"...bleh.

But anyway, he'd just been coming back from McDonald's when he saw this man taking this poor old ladies purse. He couldn’t just ignore it, after all, he was the hero and the hero always HAS to save people who we're having acts of evil committed on them! So he ended up spending THREE HOURS chasing down the man, before he finally managed to tackle him to the ground and retrieve the stolen item. And like a true hero he took an hour to run all the way back to the old lady and give her back her purse. She'd been grateful of course and just had to buy him a cup of tea...yeah that's right...TEA! That gross stuff the England always insisted upon drinking...but she just wouldn't let him go without buying him at least one cup, so he down the nasty stuff as fast as he could. He thought its nastiness landed somewhere between England's scones and Marmite.

Two hours after that whole ordeal she finally let him be, saying she had to return home. By then it was reeeeally late, about 1 am he had thought. Tired and a little grumpy he slowly made his way back to his hotel. But it seemed that London wasn't done giving him trouble yet. Oh no, it seemed that the British man's capital wanted nothing more than to see the poor American suffer for daring trying to get to that meeting early. So before he even got half way back to the hotel it started to rain. Hard. Hard enough for America to have to take shelter under a bus shelter...ALL DAMN NIGHT! He ended up having to sleep there until early morning when the rain finally let up. He dashed back to his hotel, took a warm shower and quickly got changed before dashing as fast as he could to the meeting.

Which was what he was doing right now. Maybe, maaaybe if he ran fast enough he may be able to still be the first one there! With that thought in mind he ran to the conference hall as fast as he could, breaking his own personal best in speed as he did. He threw himself into the building and darted down the halls until he finally made it to the conference room. He blasted though the doors only to find that EVERYONE was already there...and clearly waiting for him.

England smirk cockily, before casually leaning against the wall he had been standing near, eyes gleaming with mirth and mischief. "Don't say i-" But before America could finish his sentence, England cut in with the last thing the American wanted to him to say at that moment. "Aren't you a little late today?"

It's official, he thought, as he slumped down in his seat. He officially hated England...perhaps just as bad as the country hated him.
